The KVK conducted a field day on 23rd February, 2023 in connection with the harvest of KAU Shubhra, white coloured salad cucumber demonstrated as part of the FLD project. White salad cucumber has high preference in Ernakulam district. The production potential of KAU Shubhra was compared with Snowhite variety. The field day was conducted at the farm of partner farmer Smt. Beena Varghese, Pollayil house near Alangad. Agriculture officer Smt. Chinnu Joseph Kattoor, Assistant Agriculture Officer Shri Shinu Chenkal and progressive vegetable farmers participated.
