As part of Jal Raksha Abhiyan, the KVK-Ernakulam conducted a training on “Vegetable farming with efficient water management ” for students in association with UniY Aluva and Govt Boys Higher Secondary School, Aluva on the 7th November 2022. As part of the training, the students also set up a demonstration vegetable farm at the school. Cowpea, okra, amaranthus, tomato, brinjal , chilli, cabbage, cauliflower etc. were planted. Shri. Shoji Joy Edisondison, Subject Matter Specialist of the KVK conducted the training and Shri. Kuruvilla Mathew , Secretary, YMCA, Aluva participated.
