Few women members of Kudumbashree self help group were trained on organic manure production, packing and marketing. The enterprise is M/s Jeeva Kudumbashree Micro Enterprise, Airapuram, Airapuram P.O, Ernakulam District. The unit started functioning during February 2016.

Output of the intervention: During the year 2015-2016, the unit produced 1 MT Neem Cake, 1 MT Neem gro (Neem & Groundnut cake mixture), 1 MT Vermicompost, 240 litres of Sprayable Neem oil, 4 MT Dolomite, 1 MT Castor cake, 150 litres of Panchagavya, 100 litres of Sea Fish Extract, 2 MT of Growbag mixture and 5000 Grow bags.

Outcome of the intervention: Farmers getting quality Neem cake, Castor cake, Dolomite, Vermicompost, Neemoil in sprayable form, Neem Gro (Neem & Groundnut cake mixture), Panchagavya, Sea fish extract and grow bag mixture at an affordable price. Farmers getting awareness about quality of organic inputs makes private players also supply quality inputs.
