KVK associated in ATMA Kissan Gosthi of Alengad Block conducted at Karumallur on 16th November 2022.  Shri.Shoji Joy Edison, Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture) of the KVK has taken a session on “Good Agricultural Practices in Banana cultivation” followed by a farmer-scientist interface. Scientists of Kerala Agricultural University also participated. Subsequently, a multi-disciplinary diagnostic field visit was also conducted to the paddy fields. Iron toxicity symptoms in rice were identified and solutions to combat the issue were suggested.
