The Ernakulam KVK partners with ATMA Ernakulam (Narakkal block) for its within-district training program for 2023-24. This collaboration includes training sessions on various topics, such as “Homestead Vegetable Cultivation” held at Kuzhippilly on January 25th, “Production Technology of Ginger and Turmeric” at Pallippuram on February 5th, and “Fruits and Vegetable Cultivation in Homesteads” at Nayarambalam on February 6th. As a result of the training program, Pallippuram Grama Panchayat initiated a project called “Manjal Gramam,” focusing on the cultivation and processing of turmeric during the current growing season starting from April 2024.
