On June 18, 2024, the Ernakulam KVK conducted a live webcasting of the 17th installment release of the Prime Minister Kisan fund and the distribution of Kisan Sakhi certificates. The event was webcasted and explained in the local language, with progressive farmers participating.

In addition to the webcasting, the event featured an informative session on homestead vegetable cultivation led by Shri Shoji Joy Edison, SMS (Horticulture). Dr. K. Smita Sivadasan, SMS (Animal Husbandry), conducted a discussion on homestead poultry rearing for the Kudumbasree Community Development Society Chairperson and members of Narakkal Panchayat. Dr. P. A. Vikas, SMS (Fisheries), and other KVK staff also participated in the discussions and webcasting.
