The ICAR Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) actively participated in a seminar for fish farmers, organized by Krishikoppam Kalamasserry, on September 1, 2024, at NIFAM, Kadungaloor. The event was attended by approximately 70 fish farmers, along with officials from the Fisheries Department.

The seminar was inaugurated by Shri P. Rajeev, Honorable Minister for Law, Industries, and Coir. Dr. P.A. Vikas, Subject Matter Specialist (Fisheries), led the main session, delivering an insightful presentation on the prospects and challenges in fish farming.
