World Environment Day celebrated

KVK Ernakulam celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2023 in collaboration with The Mookannur Grama Panchayat near Angamaly, Ernakulam.

Lifestyle for Environment pledge was administered by Gramapanchath president Shri. Biju Palaty. One dozen varieties of fruit plants were planted in the premises of fresh water pond-Valiya Chira located at the Basil Bavan ward. Mookannur aqua Promoter Mr. Biju M Lewis welcomed the gathering and Dr. PA Vikas, Subject matter Specialist briefed on the importance of trees and environment in lifestyle. Vice President Smt. Jaya Radhakrishnan, Ward Member Ms. Laijo Anto, Mr. KT Itup, Mr. MP Devassi Kutty, Mrs. Rani and Smt. Manju Vinod also addressed the gathering.
