World Soil Day seminar conducted

The KVK-Ernakulam celebrated world soil day on 5th December 2022 by conducting a seminar on Integrated soil management for ensuring food security jointly with Narakkal Krishi Bhavan. The theme for world soil day this year is “Soils, where food begins.” Hands-on training on “How to collect soil samples” was also conducted for farmers. Shri.Shoji Joy Edison and Shri. Pushparaj Anjelo, the Subject Matter Specialists, conducted the programme. Smt. Angela Cyriac, Agriculture officer, Narakkal, Mr. Antony Sijo, Block Technology Manager (ATMA) and progressive farmers participated.
